Ok im sure many of you guys have been seeing or hearing about the beef between the detroit pistons and Allen Iverson, well to come to find out it goes even further when allen iverson takes an interview with an espn reporter."They told me, straight up, 'Allen, we would never disrespect you or your career like that,' by making me come off the bench," Iverson said."That's what they told me to my face. And after that, I never thought about it again. I just went back to playing. Then, they came to me saying that they felt it would be in the 'best interest of the team' if I came off of the bench behind Rip (richard hamilton)."... After that, they told me that if I didn't come off the bench, the team was going to lie down on [not play with] me. ... When he told me that, that's when I felt that this was the worst career move I'd ever made and it was the worst year of my career."

ok everyone i am finally back HOME!!!(YAY) i had a great time visiting my family but its nothing like being home. i got home maybe 5 or 6 hours ago but when i got home i immediatly went to my bed and laid down for a while because i was so freaking exhausted. i will try to blog more if i can but i cant exactly promise you that but i will try because now im so busy now with writing,blogging,studying,etc.

ok hey everyone sorry for not writing earlier, my uncle dosen't have wireless connections for my laptop and im just now getting home. Well anyhow, many of you know that my blog title is called sports and media delight BUT i have been constantly debating about changing it because i just cant limit my writing abilities to just two aspects but i have to unlimt my writing abilities and see where it takes off. my prefered blog name would be UNIVERSALMINDFREAK which says that i write about anything that i feel and i have your attention when you are reading my blogs.ok guys comment on whether i should change!

well today was very fun and bad, the fun was i got to see a cousin who i havent seen in a year and he helped me in my guitar playing. one of the bad's was that we arrived to my uncle's house at 12 pm but didnt leave my uncle's house till 12 am which was horrible because now i have this monster headache that seems to not go away but overall i believe that today was a success. tomorrow we are having fireworks which HOPEFULLY will be nice but who knows it could be great or horrible you can only hope for the best. we are also having some barbeque ribs,chicken,steaks,corn,bell peppers and so for our main feast for tomorrow evening. and another thing which may make me quite happy is that my cousin works at vision land (which in alabama is an year round amusement park which is awesome) and he has free tickets for the family to come out and have some great family fun.

pistons aquiring guard ben gordon and forward charlie villinueva

recently the detroit pistons have picked up free agents ben gordon and charlie villinueva. ben gordon should give the pistons some versatility at the shooting guard position,but what we will be waiting to see is if gordon starts or is a reserve.ben gordon also gives the pistons an experienced player in the playoffs which could work to the pistons advantage, gordon also gives the pistions a scorer that can put up 15-20 pts a game as either a reserve or starter which he showed as a starter and a 6th man for the chicago bulls. villinueva brings a big man presence to the paint area which the pistions have needed but they also needed some younger players and i feel that villinueva can bring energy and hustle to the detroit pistons. villinueva (like gordon) can also score 15-20 pts a game whether he starts or is a reserve,but what remains to be seen for both of these players is the consistency of their offensive and defensive individual performances. another thing that worries me about these two players is can they live up to their five year contracts (if you didnt know ben gordon has a 5 year 50 million dollar contract and villinueva also has an 5 year contract but is worth 35 million dollars). so many questions are being asked about these signings but they shall be anwsered as the season progresses.

Thoughts of the day

huuuuuuhhhhh today was the longest and boringest (i dont even know if thats a word..lol) day everin my young life. first i left home at 6 15 am on my way to alabama all the way from detroit ,so you that was a going to be a long day in the making. well after that we finaaly arrive in the DIRTY SOUTH (LITERALLY...LOL). EXHAUSTED,SWEATY,ANTSY,AND DIRTY i take a shower for what seems like an hour (it really refreshed me) of pure heavenly cleasning. tomorrow i am going to spend some time with the fam and barbeque for the 4th of july and hopefully pick up a few packages of fireworks on the way.
